The last three years I have been participating in a photo competition organized by Stockholm Fotofair. Every year the theme is Stockholm.
The first two years, my pictures were not selected and I was quite disappointed, but I realized afterwards that they were not that good. I had just started photographing “seriously”. The third try was the one!
It is strange, because I remember very well the day I took it and it was just a spontaneous reaction to what I saw on the street. I guess the jury liked the fact that there was life in it. An improvised garage sale.
Anyway, I was really glad to see my pic on the wall. I saw it as en encouragement.
